Food safety is a serious topic, in terms of consumer products being manufactured and the production processes involved, which is why embracing a food safety culture is integral to the success of every food company and every part of the food supply chain.Creating a food safety culture requires ongoing commitment from your entire organisation and is likely to require a major mindset shift as well as the implementation of training for employees and continuous assessment of your food safety objectives. One area that is often overlooked but is integral to supporting a food safety culture is the use of H1 lubricants and a preventative maintenance plan. Klüber Lubrication has been helping food manufacturers run efficient production processes for more than 9 decades through the development and supply of specialty lubricants, which increase productivity, reduce maintenance tasks, and achieve higher food safety standards.
‘Kluber Lubrication are really looking forward to working with IFST on this event where we will be able to demonstrate the importance of lubricants in supporting a food safety culture. Food safety is the responsibility of all members of a production team and knowing that equipment and components within a factory that come into contact with products are food safe even if there is only the possibility of contact provides peace of mind for customers and consumers. Kluber have been working globally with their customers to ensure food safe practices and compliance and are delighted to have the opportunity to showcase some of this work to IFST and its audience and community' Felix Schulze - FCS KL Market Development Manager.
