Launched in 2023 by the Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST), National Food Science and Technology Week (NFSTW) is a landmark annual event held every June to celebrate the innovation, talent, and impact of the UK’s food science and technology sector.
Running this year from 2–7 June 2025, the week brings together students, professionals, academics, and the public in a nationwide showcase of food innovation, sustainability, safety, and health, through a series of engaging digital and in-person events.
As the UK’s leading professional body for those working in food science and technology, IFST is proud to lead this initiative to elevate the profession and inspire the next generation of scientists, innovators, and changemakers.
