As a charity and professional body that is independent of government, industry and any other organisation, IFST is in a prime position to provide impartial, science-based information. Through responses to formal consultations, we provide perspectives to Governments and other bodies seeking sound independent viewpoints. In addition, we develop proactive policy positions in areas of priority for IFST and its members.
