EFSA and the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) are inviting interested parties to comment on the draft guidance document for identifying endocrine disruptors under EU legislation for pesticides and biocides.
The guidance document is written to provide guidance to applicants and assessors of competent 159 regulatory authorities on how to identify endocrine disruptors in accordance with the ED criteria, i.e. 160 how to gather, evaluate and consider all relevant information for the assessment, conduct a mode of 161 action (MoA) analysis, and apply a weight of evidence (WoE) approach, in order to establish whether 162 the ED criteria are fulfilled.
All interested parties are asked to comment on the updated draft text by 31 January 2018.
