The Food Standards Scotland (FSS) has launched a consultation entitled 'The Proposed Approach to Amendments to Domestic Food and Feed Legislation - contingency planning for EU Exit In A No Deal Scenario'.
It concerns proposed technical amendments to food and feed safety and hygiene, food compositional standards, labelling and nutrition labelling domestic legislation applying in Scotland to ensure this legislation can continue to operate after the UK has left the EU.
The closing date for submission of comments is 20 January 2019.
