The European Commission is seeking feedback on its draft regulation which proposes to limit industrially produced trans fatty acids to 2g per 100g of fat. If the regulation is approved, food operators will have until 1 April 2021 to ensure their products comply.
The closing date for comments is 1 November 2018.
