A new round of the A4I funding programme will open on 29 July 2019 to support UK companies by providing access to world-leading experts and cutting-edge facilities in laboratories recognised world-wide for analysis and measurement.
A4I is a partnership between Innovate UK, as part of UK Research and Innovation, and funding partners: the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), the National Measurement Laboratory at LGC, the National Engineering Laboratory (NEL) and the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC).
It aims to improve the competitiveness and productivity of a company by focusing on a current analysis or measurement problem with an existing product, process, or service. The programme is often of interest to companies that have not traditionally considered applying for funding.
The KTN (Knowledge Transfer Network) is running a series of roadshows which will highlight some of the successes from previous funding rounds, introduce the partners, and help companies understand the opportunity and scope of the competition as well as discuss the application process.
The closing date for applications is 4 September 2019. More information about the programme can be found at https://www.a4i.info/
