Finalists announced for the Young Scientist Competition

The 2018 regional finals of the Young Scientist Competition began last month with successful events held at Abertay University and Manchester Metropolitan University.

We are delighted to announce next finalists who will compete on 9 May 2018 at London Metropolitan University.

Students were asked to submit an abstract (250 words max) on current work or a recently completed food related project from areas such as food science, food technology and human nutrition; as well as other areas that help our understanding of foods (such as sensory science, food safety management, and food consumer behaviour).
