In this role you will be a core member of our Communications team, supporting the Senior Communications Manager and coordinating the Institute’s activities relating to Social Media and Scientific Communications. You will produce and edit communications to our members, our key stakeholders and the wider public on a wide range of topics and through various channels including social media and our website. The successful applicant will excel in fostering relationships, delivering impactful messages, and representing IFST with enthusiasm and professionalism. If you are passionate about communication and ready to make a significant contribution to our mission, we invite you to apply.

The post will be office-based (Hammersmith, London), with occasional homeworking in accordance with business needs. Occasional travel will be necessary, such as to IFST and external events.

  • Location: This is a full time role, working 35 hours across a five-day working week (Monday to Friday). We offer an attractive benefits package including 34 days leave (pro rata for part time employees and inclusive of bank holidays) and a team benefits scheme.
  • Salary : £23,320 per annum (plus benefits & performance-related bonus), negotiable depending on experience.
