IFST is hiring! We are looking for a Registration and Accreditation Manager and a Membership Engagement Officer to push forward our work to promote food science and technology for the benefit, safety, and health of everyone. This is an exciting opportunity to join IFST’s growing Membership team.
As our Registration and Accreditation Manager you will be responsible for coordinating and actively managing the flow of applications for IFST’s wide range of membership and other registration assessment processes, via its network of trained assessors. The role is also responsible for monitoring and reporting to ensure consistently high standards of assessment are maintained, and for the maintenance and integrity of our registers including CPD associated with our registers. You will efficiently manage the accreditation of training programmes and courses. You will have knowledge of Professional Development and Recognition schemes, ideally gained in the Food Sector and/or University sector. As the lead role in our Membership team, you’ll line manage our Membership Engagement Officer to provide an excellent service to our members.
As our Membership Engagement Officer, you will be the friendly primary contact for our diverse membership. A confident communicator with an eye for detail, you will play a crucial role supporting our members by maintaining records, processing information and financial transactions, and sending communications and information. Our members will find you a delight to work with, and you will have previous experience of administration and membership databases/ CRM systems.
These are both Full Time roles (35 hours per week) and will be Remote, with opportunity to work in our West London office (Hammersmith, W6). You must be able to travel to the office on occasion, in accordance with business needs.
