IFST Community is your gateway to network with over 3300 members. This online platform is not only a forum but also enables all members to interact with each other on one platform.
IFST Community will enable you to:
- Join specific networks of like-minded members in areas that interest you
- Ask questions or share updates and information with a specific network, or our entire community
- Follow topics and key people so that we always stay up-to-date
- Directly message each other (without sharing email addresses)
We think our new platform is pretty intuitive but here are some step-by-step instructions to get everyone started. We’ve created a simple video too.
- Login via the IFST website: go to My IFST then My Community. Once you are logged in you will see the main feed and some options on either side, just like a social media platform.
- Join a network We have created a series of networks to reflect our main interest areas. Go to Networks to check them out and click Join network for any you are interested in. You can join as many as you like.
- Share something Just start typing where it says ‘What’s on your mind?’ and then hit Post. If you want everyone to read it, make sure you use the Main feed. If you only want members who are following a specific network to read it, select the network using the drop-down next to Main feed.
- Connect with other members Open the member’s profile and click Follow or Message.
- Remember to update your profile and set your email notification preferences so you always stay up-to-date even when you’re not logged in.
