The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has opened applications for the 2018/2019 cycle of its European Food Risk Assessment (EU-FORA) Fellowship Programme, a key initiative for building the EU’s scientific assessment capacity and knowledge community.
The programme is aimed at early to mid-career scientists from EU national risk assessment bodies and other Article 36 organisations, giving them the opportunity to increase their expertise in food safety assessment.
Scientists participating in the scheme will spend 12 months working and gaining hands-on experience at another European food safety risk assessment organisations. They will also benefit from four food risk assessment training modules taking place in Parma, Vienna, Berlin and Athens.
Deadline for applications is 15 January 2018.
