X-ray inspection is becoming ever more prevalent within the food industry to help ensure the safety of products for the end consumer, maintaining brand integrity, preventing recalls, reducing complaints, and protecting downstream processes.
Since its inception X-ray technology has continually evolved, and many different levels of technology are now readily available to food manufacturers, but understanding the differences and determining which may be best suited to a specific application or product can often be seen as complex.
This webinar aims to remove the mystery behind X-ray and provide a clear and understandable explanation on the different levels of technology available and the benefits of each.
Using specific examples, you will learn where each may be employed both in terms of product type and target foreign bodies but also where in the line may give the best detection results.
We will be delving into standard single energy systems and explaining the types and options available, looking at dual energy and where this may be best employed and introducing the latest direct conversion or photon counting systems that are available today.
If you have ever thought ‘an X-ray is an X-ray’, ‘what on earth is dual energy?’ or ‘X-ray is only for end of line packaging’ then this webinar is for you.
What participants will learn about:
- Overview of X-Ray technologies available today - Discover the various types of X-ray inspection systems currently on the market
- Understanding Key Differences - Gain insights into how each X-ray technology differs
- Applications and ideal use - Explore where each technology is best applied.
