Encouraged by the success of the Yasai Sushi team from the University of Reading – who scooped the silver prize at the Ecotrophelia grand final in November 2017 – we are expecting even more interest from UK student teams in the 2018 competition.
Therefore, we are looking for Members and Fellows who would like to become preliminary judges to help us identify the best-of-the-best of the UK teams. Preliminary judging will take place in April.
Being a preliminary judge involves reading through and scoring a handful of portfolios, and potentially, a short telephone call. Preliminary judges will have the opportunity to attend the UK final to watch shortlisted teams present to the ‘dragons’.
