Unlock the power of Storytelling and Communication: in this event via the three speakers’ presentations and discussions, we will explore how to communicate our work and research in various ways to make an impact. Whether you are working in the industry or academia, this event will offer a dynamic platform to learn, share, and grow. This is a face to face event and will include speaker presentations, group discussions, and networking.

 

 

 

It will be of interest to sensory and consumer scientists (either from the industry or academia) and their business partners.

Grant Feller - Storyteller, EveryRung




Grant Feller is a former national newspaper journalist who now runs an award-winning storytelling consultancy, EveryRung. They help leaders, their brands and teams use journalistic skills to make insights more impactful and to create more meaningful narratives – climbing every rung of the storytelling ladder. Grant will will focus on using simple storytelling techniques to raise our influence and help decision-makers, as well as show you how newsroom techniques can make your work more effective.

 

 

 

 

 



















Caroline Florence - Founder and Director, Insight Narrator Ltd




Caroline Florence is the Founder of Insight Narrator, a training company that has helped over 10,000 business professionals drive impact through data storytelling. Caroline is the author of ‘Data Storytelling in Marketing: How to tell persuasive stories through data’ and was included in the Twenty Women in Data & Tech in 2023 for services to learning and development within the data sector. She was also listed in the ESOMAR Insight250 in 2021, as a global innovator in data-driven marketing and she speaks regularly at conferences around the world on the value of storytelling. In this session Caroline focuses on how to isolate the key insights and translate into salient points of view that tell a compelling story. She will provide a practical framework to help you identify the ‘so what?’ insights from the data, clarify the ‘now what?’ recommendations, and communicate the story to different audiences.

 

 

 

 

 

















Renata Witt - Regional Head of Sensory Europe, MMR Research




Renata is a sensory scientist with nearly two decades of experience in FMCG product development. With a background in Chemistry and postgraduate degree in Sensory and Consumer Science, she leads a team of 15 professionals across the UK and the Netherlands, working at client sites and the MMR Netherlands Sensory Science Centre. Renata is passionate about leveraging sensory science for successful product launches and mentoring early-career professionals to achieve their career goals.
