Establishing a Strong Food Safety Culture; legislative requirements and experiences from across the island of Ireland

This event will provide an overview of the Food Safety Culture legislative requirements by the Food Standards Agency and present findings from a recent safefood-funded research project evaluating the current status quo in regards food safety culture in food businesses across the island of Ireland. We will also hear from Environmental Health Officer and small/medium food business representatives on their perspectives in regards barriers and facilitators to the implementation of the legislation. Finally, the discussion panel will bring together perspectives in regards the legislation and discuss next steps.
