If you cannot attend the event in person, you can join us for the livestreaming of the Binsted Lecture 2025: The Future of Food Science Education.
This event is a collaboration between IFST, IFT British Section, the Food and Drink Federation, and Campden BRI.
President of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), Chris Daubert, Vice Chancellor and Dean of the College of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources at the University of Missouri (Mizzou) and Professor in the Division of Food, Nutrition and Exercise Sciences will be delivering the lecture as part of an evening reception at the Food and Drink Federation Headquarters.
Raymond Binsted was one of the founders of IFT and of the IFT British Section in 1939. Raymond was very keen on inviting distinguished US scientists to speak at UK meetings; this annual Lecture is part of his legacy.
The focus of this year's lecture is the future of food science education.
After you have registered, you will receive a link to access the livestream within a week before the lecture.
All attendees will receive a CPD certificate, which you will be able to add to your CPD record on the IFST system.
