2024

2023

Ecotrophelia UK was kindly hosted by Sainsbury's at their offices in Holborn, Central London. Team PlanEat from the University of Nottingham took home the gold prize! View more information about the day, including all the finalists and their products

2022

For the 10th anniversary of the completion, we were back together at the Tesco Heart Building, Team Green Feathers secured the gold prize in the UK competition. View more information about the day, including all the finalists and their products

2021

The winners of 2021 UK competition also presented under Pandemic restrictions, Team Econauts secured the Gold prize in the UK competition and went on to win a Special Marketing Mention in the European Final.  View more information about the day, including all the finalists and their products

2020

In the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Ecotrophelia competition still went ahead. Despite the clear difficulties Team Re-Desert from University of Nottingham claimed the Gold prize annd went on to represent the UK in the European finals. View more information about the day, including all the finalists and their products

2019

The winners of the 2019 UK competition were the Venergy Team from Reading University. The team went on to compete in the European Finals. View more information about the day, including all the finalists and their products

2018

The winners of the 2018 UK competition were the Pom Puffs Team from the University of Nottingham. The team will go on to compete at the European Finals at the SIAL trade fair in Paris. View more information about the day, including all the finalists and their products

2017

The winners of the 2017 UK competition were the Yasai Team from the Unviersity of Reading. The team went on to secure the silver medal at the European Finals at Food Matters Live in London. View more information about the day, including all the finalists and their products.

2016

The winners of the 2016 UK competition were the Fran Borjan Team from Nottingham Trent University. The team went on to secure the bronze medal at the European finals at the SIAL trade fair in Paris.  View more information about the day, including all the finalists and their products

2015

The winners of the 2015 UK competition were the Medeina BitesTeam from Reading, Sheffield and Leeds universities.  The team went on to compete in the European finals at the Milan Expo. View more information about the day, including all the finalists and their products

2014

The first Ecotrophelia UK competition took place in 2013. The winners of the 2013 UK competition were the More than Meat Pies Team from Harper Adams University.
